Healthy skin or a healthy gut?

Healthy Skin Or A Healthy Gut?

Healthy skin or a healthy gut?

Honestly, it’s why can’t you have both?

If we think of the gut and skin as a two-way street we can see the communication between the two.

Your skin is home to trillions of microorganisms and their byproducts, collectively known as your skin microbiome. In fact, both your skin and your gut have similar jobs: manage what comes into your body from the outside world and communicate and relay information back to your body’s nervous, immune, and endocrine systems.⁣

It should come as no surprise then, that gut health and skin health are linked. The gut microbiome is a major regulator of skin health through diverse pathways and mechanisms, now identified as a gut-skin axis, and this allows oral probiotics to confer benefits to the skin.

To date, there has been quite a bit of clinical research on probiotics’ effect on the skin, particularly on atopic dermatitis in infants and other skin diseases.

I always work on both at the same time to help you get the best results. Healthy skin starts in the digestion 🙂

One of my go-to tools for healthy skin and a healthy gut is Seed’s Daily Synbiotic – this multi-strain formula is a probiotic + prebiotic finally backed by real science (finally, a probiotic backed by real science!). And since trying it for myself and my clients I haven’t looked back.

I highly recommend trying it for yourself – http://seed.com/cowley & get 15% off your first-month order using the code COWLEY15

I’d love to hear your feedback.
